Keep the bandage on overnight
Remove first thing in the morning
Wash with warm water, clean hands, and unscented antibacterial soap
Dial Gold is an effective, widely available, and affordable option
Form a gentle foam and remove plasma, blood, and excess ink from the surface
Once the bandage is removed, do not place any additional bandages over the tattoo let it breathe
Wash twice a day for the first 2-3 days, then once a day for the remaining portion of two weeks
48-72 hours post-procedure, you can start applying unscented lotion a couple of times a day
Use breathable lotions such as Lubriderm, Aveeno, Eucerin, and Cetaphil. If you’d like something heavier, such as Aquaphor, use it less often. Please make sure to let it dry in-between applications and don’t overdo! This will cause a dulling of the tattoo
Don’t pick at it, don’t scratch it. It heals similar to a sunburn, so let it peel naturally
Two weeks no sun + no soaking/submerging in water. Showers are fine
Approximately 2 weeks for healing, 3 weeks for follow up appointments
Contact your tattoo artist if you have questions or experience any discomfort
